VOCABULARY: click links for detailed glossary page:- DOLLY SHOT: A movement shot where the camera pushes forward or away from the subject.
- PANNING SHOT: A movement shot where the camera swivels left to right from a fixed position such as a tripod.
- TILT SHOT: A shot where the camera moves up and down on a swivel or tilting device.
- TRACKING SHOT: A movement shot where the camera is moving alongside, parallel to the action or subject.
- ZOOM SHOT: Changing the focal length or magnification of the lens, giving the ILLUSION of moving closer or away from the subject.
- DOLLY IN, ZOOM OUT: When the camera moves closer or further away from the subject while adjusting the zoom to keep the subject the same size in the frame.
